Approximate Weight: 50 lbs.


Has Lived With: other dogs


Currently Living at: DC area foster home


Diesel is a sweet 1 year old Lab/Terrier mix. He weighs about 50 lbs and, because of his age, may fill out a little but is otherwise done growing. We don't know how this sweet boy ended up in a shelter but it hasn't dampened his spirits one bit and he can't wait to meet his forever family!


Diesel will need plenty of exercise and playtime each day to be a happy and healthy pup. He would love to go on daily long walks, hikes and regular trips to the dog park. After he's tuckered out, Diesel loves cuddling up for a nice nap and belly rub. He can't wait to go to obedience training with his new family so that he can bond with his people and become his very best self! 


Diesel is good with other dogs so he'd be a great addition to an existing pack or happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog. We don't know how Diesel is with young kids or cats but if you're interested, let us know and we can try to find out! 


Like most shelter dogs, Diesel may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
